What do I mean by that?

Well, where do I start? This is my opinion.

It's the most ugly thing I ever saw and it's incredible that anybody would drop coin on one. Whether it works or not is academic. It's like fitting a 300ft tall wind generator on an electric 1:1 car - It would work but why would you?

I never saw anybody cobble omething together (or adapt an existing product) as quickly and it's obvious that these guys are desperately trying to get on the Baja bandwagon before the X-Can makers get a grip.

Honestly, it's laughable

HPI should have flipped the engine around 180* to allow all the differnt varities of pipes curenttly available on the market a chance to intergrate with the Baja5......Now looks like this may be a design flaw... how is a tunedpipe going to fit???

Well you can mount it on the side or straight out the back

The X-can is not a Tunedpipe and wont unleash the engines full potential.

In my opinion, that appears to be real old school or like an old dog not wanting to learn new tricks. For that matter, R/Cs probably wouldn't be around and option parts companies wouldn't be making new products if everything stayed the same. Or even "real" full-size car companies. Technology changes and simply put, if one doesn't like it, don't purchase it. After all, some apparently don't need "tuned pipes" since according to some, certain parts for certain brands is only about customization. It's also truely amazing how many design engineers are on this forum though they can't spell or use a spell check from time to time.

If painted black, the jetpro probably wouldn't damage the design so much... Chrome is just wrong here!

Alls I'm saying is produce NEW vehicles that intergrate some of the current market parts.. this will in turn help the entire industry

You don't have to be any kind of engineer to critisize that pipe. You know as well as many others that the pipe is not gonna work off road

I agree or at least it probably won't work for my application even if my comment wasn't as obvious to some.

Does NE1 Know if "JEMCO" makes pipes for for smaller type engines?cause if they were willing too make something that would be trip, I have a "Jemco" race pipe on my NSR and it rocks, but the place where I got it from I do not have the Phne# any more

Wow, that was quick Oneill ! Congrats on getting something out of the oven so quickly.

Well I have to say that while it may take away from the look, I don’t think we are going to find any pipe that will not do the same. You have a full scale looking buggy and you have to fit a large over grown chrome snail to the exhaust. There are not a lot of options here.

If I know Oneill and if I know R/C customers, they will be buying a pipe no matter what it looks like and some times no matter how well it works.
