Status: offline 		Austin, how are the new saddle packs that you are testing coming along? I am very interested in possibly getting a new design, and especially one with arou 6000mah. Thanks =)

By the way, I ran the lipos last Saturday, and I won the A-main. People are starting to ask me about the batteries, the hobby shop owner knows about them too and I referred them to your website.

Status: offline 		We just built our first 5500mah saddle pack. It looks pretty sweet. I think it will work well for most setups. That is great news about the race!!

Status: offline 		I have Kokam 2000 15C Lipo which cells are beginning to swell or
bloat. Is there anything I can do to stop this or reclaim the packs.
There is still 12.5 volts charge on packs and they seem to be ok
other than swelling or bloating

They quickly resolved the problem to my satisifaction and Max Amps will now be my sole supplier of Li-Po batteries.

Status: offline 		Austin i'm new to the whole Lipo thing but i was wondering how the MaxAmps Lipoly 4000mah 2S 7.4V are? I have a mamba max 7700 system in my HPI Sprint. I'm currently running 1900-2400 nicads and nimh batteries and there really not doing it for me. I've been told from many that Lipo is where i want to be and that the over all performance i'll see from them with my 7700 is going to be huge. Also what do i need to know about charging and discharging them? Thank you for your help. Joe

Status: offline 		I just got some 7.4V 6000's for my TC4 w/Mamba 7700. Nice batts for sure. The 4000's are probably a lot lighter but figured these big-buck Lipos should have more current than the GP4300's they are replacing, so I got the 6A versions.

Status: offline 		The 4000s will work with the Mamba 7700 setup but they may get pretty hot. The 6000 would be a more conservative option.

Status: offline 		Maxamps should offer a saddle pack in the pack options menu for Nimh cells , because that is what i need for my Grand Motorsports Drag car .

Status: offline 		hi all im new to the rc electric sene i just got a mini lst and a mamba brushless system and i am having a problem with the esc i think when i start to pull the throttel the motor jumps and studders until it gets moving and all is well. i am using a 2100mah 3 cell lipo with deans connecters. anyone know whats up?

Status: offline 		Hey Austin, I've had great luck with your GP and IB packs, but I'd like to try LiPo my RC10B4. It's running a Novak brushless 7.5 motor. Would the 6000HV 2S2P 7.4V Pack be a good fit for this combo? The ESC does not have a low voltage cutoff, so I assume I would need one. I have a Duratrax ICE charger that seems to do a good job with my airplane LiPo's. Anything else I need to be concerned about? BTW, the RCU homepage has a link to your site that shows this pack for $79, but it takes you to your site where the price is $89. Thought you might like to know.

Status: offline 		hey Austin, i bought on of your 4000HV 3S 11.1V Pack for my mamba 5700 i was looking at chargers for this but i cant find one with the right adapters do you sell a charger and do you sell adapters for other chargers and do your charges have balancers

For some reason I cannot load your web site - I am an Aussie located in China.

What max size (mAh) saddle packs would fit (direct replacement) where a 2x 3 cell SubC saddle pack now fits in a 1/10 buggy?

I have the Hyperion Balancer and Lipo Charger so how do I charge a 2S2P pack? Do I set the mAh and voltage on the charger and plug the balance tap into my balancer and start charging as I do now for my 3S1P packs?

is the current pack size just add a 1/2mm or so all the way around it with either the heat shrunk skin or the slip on. And if your not required to use them then don't.
