Ha ha ha, yeah.. gonna be strange, but hey, I was drifting my Dark Impact with touring car size drift tires.. so why not the F-1!

It has the Tamiya Sport Tune RS540 motor.. with Futaba MC330CR ESC + Novak mega power capacitor..

I think you need to try the Neo in that sucker...

Hrmmm I just sold up most my RC's and just kept the one truck... But I don't like it to much! I'm thinking about getting one of these or a Dark Impact

I mean I love the MF2, but with the brushless I just can't drive it in the back yard, to much power and not enough room...

Damn, why did I have to sell those 2 spare ESC's and them motor, not it's gonna cost me a **** load to get a new truck / car... Hrmmm what to get, I kind of want a shelf quuen, that I can use, if that makes anysense?

Neo is in the Dark Impact right now... (see my Dark Impact thread..)

I am waiting for my Mamba Max 7700kv.. will need to figure out where that go after I got it!

The F201 is a very unique kit.. I like it a lot.. very different than all those touring cars out there.. unless you want to race (where F-1 class is less popular), it is not a bad choice!

DI is cool too.. if you want a 4WD buggy! It comes w/ full ballbearings + oil shocks.. so it is pretty complete..

Yeah it's just I have a completely pimped out race truck... But I don't even race, and have no intention of doing so.

So what I might do is sell the MF2, and with the money from that buy a DI (prolly cost no money to swap over), then I might look at getting something else. I think I'm going to sell this 2 star Neo motor and get a 1 star... Hrmmmm so much stuff to do.. In the last 2 months I have owned 5 different RC's, and 4 have been sold.

Sell your MF-2?! You are gonna lose money there... maybe just keep it and save up for that DI....

2-Star too fast for off-road truck?!

I got 1-Star on my DI, it is not bad.. you can control that.. I need to gear it down, though.. waiting for some new pinions..

I bought my MF2 used for around $130USD. I have put nothing into the truck itself, except cleened it. I'm sure I will make $130 on it again, and that will get me a DI

The 2 star isn't to fast as such... But maybe I should just try sportsman setting or something

Yep I been browsing through both your DI thread and the Official thread...

What I might do though it keep the MF2, and just save for a few weeks and buy a DI and mambafy it

It's a good truck... I can run it with the slipper not slipping, and the diff and tranny hold up fine. I'm just having troubles working out a tire combo that will grip some grip

Yeah, for RWD truck, maybe the 1-Star would be easier to control!
