I found Wildcat fuel at www.rcfueldepot.com . How does the 10% Wildcat compare to Red Alert 10%? I was wondering because the Wildcat is a bit cheaper than Red Alert 10%.

I've been using WildCat almost exclusively in my fourstrokes since about 1992, I've used 10% Premium, both 10% and 15% Premium Extra and 20% ProMix. Great stuff. In all that time I have not worn out or rusted a bearing.

How is it for glow fuel engines? I have a Duratrax Warhead and a Nitro Evader ST that I have been running Red Alert 10% in and would like to take advantage of the Wildcat prices if it will be alright in the glow engines. Both trucks have the stock engines.

You want to pick the right blend for your application. Here's the Wildcat web site. It has all of the info you should need to compare it to your present fuel.

Does anyone know what the percentages are in Red Alert 10%? That is what I am using now, but the bottle doesn't have any info on it.

Duratrax is one of those companies that keeps the numbers "secret"

The notes here
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD540&P=0
say it is 'equivalent to' fuels that have 18% oil.

I take that to mean it actually has less than 18%

for your car or truck, there is wildcat "eliminator" in 20 nitro and either 10, 14 or 18 percent oil. I love the 20n 14 oil in my 28 powered 9.5, good stuff. Also HPI powerfuel is made by wildcat, again good stuff.

Wildcat is good fuel. I use their 4-stroke blend. Engines run well season after season.

Lot's of Heli guys use it. Curtis Youngblood's name is on one of their products. If he didn't think it was good I doubt he would do that.[8D]

I have been using 30% Wildcat Helimix with 18% oil for my .18 Nitro boat engine and its been doing great.
Starts very easy and is consistent.

I used Hobby Town fuel which has Wildcat on the jug and I liked it. It has 18% oil content and 20% was castor and 80% was synthetic. I liked that ratio of oils for some reason. I ran SIG Champion fuel once and it was 20% oil and it was 50/50% blend. The 20% is a little thick for my two strokes and just about right for a Saito but I no longer buy either fuel as the local distributors or out of business and now I buy Magnum fuel at a cheaper price.
