Default Which mini heli would you choose?

I've been looking into buying a micro heli. Yesterday when one of the club members landed his full scale Enstrom at the field, I became completely hooked on helicopters. I need your guys opinions on which heli would be the best based on performance, maintenance, parts backup and price. Thanks for your opinions!

Any other ideas on a good heli would be much appreciated!

Well, seeind how none of the choices are micro helis, it makes it hard to choose. If your asking which mini heli, I would say the MX400 or the Trex 450 SA are good for starting out.

I would go the T-Rex SE

The SE is probably the simplest to build, and the best flier out of those choices. All of them are similar, but as the SE comes with more aluminum parts, it is stronger and more crash resistant.

Superb info above! Thanks!
Just new abit more info!
I am new (bet that usual!) here and new to heli as well (got a 2ch & sold it off now hope to upgrade to a better heli- longer/levels).
I just purchase a walkera/(waiting!) :
Le mai 2006 le NOUVEAU Modèle 6CH Walkera 52 Hélicoptèr Item number: 6063263625 . From ebay and is yet to see it after 3 weeks of long communucation. Just found out it was not posted yet! Sorry!

Back to the point. Now thinking of cancelling the purchase if possible and considering the walkera 60 7channel (yeah again walkera). What do you guys think about it in comparison with the T-rex/trex 450se (and why two names/t-rex fake?)

Many thanks
cheers

I would stay away from Walkera, their electronics are very flaky and are notorious for problems. My vote would go to the HDX450.

Thanks you! But HDX450 (will check)? Cant find it on ebay (ebay addict).. Sorry mini-lst is a cool mini 1/18 size rc elextric 4wd by team Losi RC1bT is more towards the buggy side or racing but still 1/18 mini body fun 4wd.

Must look into HDX450. Thanks again. (or something that included a rc controller would be a bonus: hence walkera 60-which will try to stay away now).

cheers

Get the trex-450 se & a good simulator. You will learn quicker & not need to upgrade at all as your flying progresses. Man my SE flys smooth. Buy both from a local hobby shop. Leave ebay alone for right now because: 1. You have no idea what you are buying. Is it new? Is it complete? Is it bent. Secondly ebay WILL NOT help you with initial setup, flying, repairing & any of the thousand questions you will have.
