Has anyone still been able to order plans from the RC Modelers web site since the magazine went out of buisness. The site says you can still order plans from them. Any one been satisfied?

Thanks

Jim

I ordered a number of plans from RCM in late February (approx. $100)). I paid extra to get them shipped by airmail. After 2 months I had not received any plans so I contacted RCM plans service. They promised to send new plans. Now it's mid-June and still I have received nothing :-(. Either U.S. Airmail is incredibly slow or I am being ripped off by RCM.

I ordered a set over the weekend, and confirmed the order on Monday. Havn't received them yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

I have found them to be quite slow, and you may have gotten surface mail by mistake, but I have always got the plans in the end. Hang in there...

I've ordered many sets of plans from RCM, both before and after the magazine tanked. No problems at all, but they do take awhile.

I did not know they went out of business. For how many months has the publication been out of print?

I just called RCM magazine's number off their website and the woman on the phone said they are still selling plans but the magazine is up for sale.

I ordered a set of plans from RCM for the RCM trainer. I have been wanting to do a scratch build and I also wanted a trainer to just to buzz around the sky once in a while as well as wanting to have a trainer available for anyone that wanted to try out r/c flying on a buddy box.

I got the plans in about a week and 1/2.

Check the postage date on the envelope and find out when they actually shipped it.

The green US custom declarations label on the envelope states that it was shipped on June 20 (!). That is very strange because I ordered the plans in February and have been in contact with RCM several times and they have assured me that the plans have been sent by air mail a long time prior to that date. Makes me wonder...

You know what -- get them on the phone and tell them that you'll "wait on the phone" 'till t UPS is knocking at your door with them.. LOL

Seriously though, get them on the horn and either get them into the mail NOW! or demand your $$$ back ... with interest. The usurey laws vary from state to state. My guess is you can go on-line and find that out as well.

CHARGE them with interest on your $$$ or

a letter from your lawyer

something ought to shake things up

marwen1, as I stated in my previous post, Date 8/3/2006 2:48:04 PM, I did eventually receive the plans. I had to wait 5 months though!
