Status: offline 		I hope you don't mind, RB, but I was removing old pics off my camera and forgot I had taken these! I'll let him tell you what happened. This is his Wren powered Extra, after a flight on May 27th. We were all amazed at the interesting sound the turbine was making throughout the flight, and the massive amount of smoke when he enabled the smoke system! Looks like he re-entered the atmosphere too fast eh?

From what I've heard, he's got it fixed already. Didn't appear to affect the flight characteristics, but sure smelled funny!

Jet-A is a hell of a smoke oil.....but it really kicks in the afterburner.

Good example of not paying attention....as there were many spectators standing around the plane that day as I prepped it for flight. I simply did not pay attention to the business at hand and put Jet-A in the smoke tank. All is repaired and back to flight status................
