Love the car so far. Only hop-up right now is the Venom fail-safe unit. Taking my time. Just did first two of five break in tanks today. Let the car idle on the stand for two tankfulls. Had to adjust the low speed needle for both tanks because the wheels were spinning and the idle was very high. Got it right though. Temp for the two tanks was about 200-220. The next three will be driving low to mid range bands. The sixth and on I will build up to full throttle. Does this sound about right? I am coming off of the Traxxas line of breaking in the other cars they had. Thanks

hehe, you shouldnt tune to temp, tune by sound and acceleration, if it has crisp clean acceleration with litle to no hesitation and a good smoke trail your fine, but generally between 220-260, i like to add a little klotz castor oil to mine for the extra protection, and it gives a good smoke trail

Thanks for the advise. One more thing, by the time my T-15 is spent and worn, I will have added many hop-ups to it. What is a popular engine to use on the RS4. Will be for local road course racing. Do people just replace the .15 or put like a Hyper .21? Sorry if this is a dumb question, again coming off of Traxxas on-road.

a.21 wont fit, best powerplant thatll drop right in is the os .18 tz...more powerful than some big blocks & has been dyno'd at 2.3 bhp...generally any OS unit. or a .12 size novarossi

os .15 cvr, os .18 cvr, os .18 tz

thats the power order of the os units...ive heard VERY good things about them. however in my rush evo i dropped in an xtm .18 rear exhaust for a bargain £90 (half the os prices) and the power was incredible! but i had to get another manifold which was£10 i think...this is a while back

Okay, I will probably go with the .18 when the time comes. I plan on getting a 41 tooth gear and a racing clutch soon. Everything else on the car comes pretty well hopped up. Very impressed. Thanks.
