I am rather new to this LiPo battery buisness. I have bought a 3 cell 1300mAh 20c discharge LiPo, and i have no idea how to connect it to my esc. All i know is that it is charge through the charging leads...but there is for discharge leads(Red, Black, Blue, Yellow) out of the LiPo but only red and black comming from ESC. How do i connect them and with what wires...?

This sounds like the leads you are talking about are the balance leads. They connect to a balancer while charging so that the cells are balanced properly. Good but not absolutely necessary.

You should have a pair of heavy duty red and black wires other than the charge wires. Those would connect, using a Deans connector, to the ESC which should have a black and red wire with a Deans connector (male on one side, female on the other side). If this is not your setup, then I don't quite know what your connection is. Perhaps this is designed to operate from the charge leads... perhaps you should ask this question to the people you bought the battery from.

I have 4 LiPo's, two are 2200 mah, 20 C and two are 1500 mah 20C batteries, all are three cell (3S1P for 3 series 1 parallel) 11.1 volt battery packs and all are setup as I said above. They all have heavy red/black for discharge, lighter red/black labled (charge only). Two (the 2200 mah) have the four wires as you do, but they are light gauge wire with a connector on the end that matches up with my balancer that came with the larger 2200 mah batts.

Hope this helps.

DS.
