Status: offline 		When the SuperTigre G2300 is properly broken-in and properly-set, it will give you many, many hours of running. Most difficulties associated with the engine stem from mounting and fuel system considerations. Many non-stock mufflers will not deliver enough pressure to the fuel tank, and the engine will tend to run lean as a result.

Once the engine's broken-in, you should have few diffculties with it.

Status: offline 		Purchased 2300, Have run 2 gal through it. Tried two different props! still dies when you idle it down a little frum full throttle. Three flights, three dead sticks!

Status: offline 		Have you tried adjusting the low end needle? They usually come really rich from the factory and will flood the engine out when you back off from full throttle if they're not leaned out. Also, if it ran really well on your test stand (which I'm assuming it did if you got two gallons through it) it could come down to fuel tank placement or your fuel lines. Good luck.

Status: offline 		We normally run the SuperTigre G2300 with an APC 18 x 10 propeller and expect to see a peak RPM of 7,300. Any idle RPM below 2,500 is considered "good". We use 10% nitro two-sroke fuel with approximately 18% oil content that's a synthedic/castor mix.

The carb-setting procedure is detailed above. It works. The problem many people have is that they are not working with the idle needle enough, and are not getting the carburetor 'balanced'. The idle MUST start out very rich. You MUST have the full-throttle setting found first...set just rich of peak RPM. You then work on the idle mixture and RPM. Many people try to idle the engine too slowly. That causes acceleration problems and midrange operating problems. If the model won't sit still on the ground, then go to a lower-pitch prop, or live with it if the model flies the way you want it to.

You can use propellers that will allow the engine to turn as high as 9,000 RPM. Best handling is when the engine will turn in the mid-to-high 7,000's/low-8,000's when leaned to just rich of peak RPM.
