i too just got my st-1 this past thursday. love the way this truck is put together, and the quality of the parts is amazing for a RTR. i help out at the shop i got it from, so when i came in last week i opened it up and took a look at everything. i have a proline high downforce wing on it now, and i took my werks teamline B3 out of my hyper 7 and put it in the st-1. this truck is also very light too. almost forgot to mention i put some craddock brake pads on here, and i thought the stock brake pads were good, these things will LOCK the wheels up for sure. nice servos too, steering is a little slow though.

i've put about three tanks through it in that pic. the screw that holds the clutch bell fell out and the bearing went with it. i'll be picking up a new bearing when i go to the lhs today.

The same thing happened to me with my 2 speed clutch bell but the bearing is a different size to to standard one, my lhs cant find what it is amd aparantly you cant buy them separately so they made me buy a new 2 speed clutch bell and use the bearing out of that one......****s!
now iv got another problem too. when i accelerate, the front right wheel wants to dinner plate instantly while the left doesnt and it causes it to pull to one side. i thought it might have been the front diff but i swapped it with another and it did the same...... any ideas anyone?????

Something binding in the left wheel, maybe bad bearings? Differentials by design send the power through the path of least resistance, chek that left wheel out.

my truck is on a vacation. I cant seem to find a leak in the fuel system that is adding air. I replaced my lines, replaced my tank, checkd the gaskets/seals, checked the carb, yet I get air in my fuel line still. Puzzling. Cant stay running for over 30 seconds... everything is new that has to do with the fuel system...

any thoughts???

you can check my post on page 11 of this thread, no one has tried thefour shoe setup, i'll paste a copy of what I posted earlier in this thread

"Has anybody used the thunder tiger 4-shoe clutch and fly wheel part no. PD0998? You can see it here although there is no pic or description http://www.thundertiger4u.com/4shoe-clutch-type-p-9836.html I called ace hobby customer service, the guy said they didnt have one so I gave him the part number. He went and got it, said he had never heard of it before and had never seen it before. The kit comes with flywheel, collet, cluth nut, 4 springs, 4 carbon shoes and some shims. Replacement carbon shoes and springs are $12 (pd1218) but he said he did not see aluminum shoes listed anywhere as available options. I jsut wondered if anybody has used these and may know of any aluminum shoes that may fit, would be a super cheap alternative for a four shoe setup on the ST-1. I might pick one up just to see but right now am poor. I vote for Jaywax to buy one and see what shoes will fit for us. M2C racing was no aware that TTR had their own four shoe setup so therefor he does not produce a shoe for them....yet. "
