Well i went raing today for its debut at the track and was a bit disappointed by its performance. It just wasnt the same engine that i drove it beforehand. But then i realised that i hadnt retuned it after putting my LRP pipe back on it for the tight track. But even then i wasnt happy so i had a good look all over the car to see if anything was wrong and thats when i saw it. My throttle EPA was set right down so i was only getting like maybe 6/10 throttle. I adjusted it and took it out for a test and tune and wow what a diferent. I had a crowd Its an awesome engine. Its a really fast engine i'll tell you that

Ok, I think my eyes are about to pop out of my head with all this reading Anyway, this is what I'm planning to order from amain tomorrow. I'm not looking to race, just bash in the backyard/park. Will mostly be running on wood chips and grass. I used to have several electric 1/10 cars and a 1/8 nitro buggy about 15 years ago, but lots have changed since then. I currenly fly electric heli's.

Can you guys tell me what you think and let me know if I've missed anything or should change. Thanks, -Mike

TTR ST-1 RTR
OFNA 500cc fuel bottle
Team Associated D-size glow igniter (cheap and I like to just use reg batteries instead of remembering to charge it up)
McCoy #59 Glow plug as a spare
HPI 4x80mm turnbuckle and 3x25mm countersunk screws (for steering mod)
GH racing fuel filter
Byrons 20% race 2000 gen2 fuel (2 quarts, is this enough?)...amain only ships quarts or 4 gals
Hobbico after run oil
Fluidz air filter oil (can I just use after run oil or diff oil?)
Vairous diff oils... (Team Associated oils are cheap but nothing greater than 10k)

Any recommendations on the diff oils in f/c/r for bashing on wood chips? thinking one of these combos: 5/10/1, 7/10/3, 7/20/3

How are the stock electronics/radio? I have a 7ch Futaba radio I'm using for my heli's...should I switch?

I'll run the stock tires and rims unless you guys really think they are worth the upgrade.
Do I really need to get a wing...can't find the wing extention part, but I could mount it using the standard TT wing mount assembly.

Did I miss anything? Thanks again guys for your help...this tread has been very helpful.

i'm going with 5/10/3 in mine. get 2-3 glow plugs.no you dont need a wing. especially that you are just going for bashing.... 2 quarts will get you now where ger 4 gal's if you can.

No, air filter oil is really sticky... You can also get it from a motorcycle shop. It is best to work it into the filter a bit with your fingers... Makes a nice big mess, so make sure to have some paper towels handy.

I've read some problems with the stock servos crapping out...is this common? How about the reciever and tx? I don't want to have to buy another radio if I don't have to...otherwise I would consider getting an 8ight-T RTR with the spektrum radio with it.
