well the linkage is fine, i actually adjusted it so that it didn't bind. I'll take a look at the clutch later today and I'll also try what madmax suggested. could be the switch but the only thing that tells me it's not it, is the fact that I still able to steer. I'll be posting my finding later. thanks for your advice guys

yea i know but i had it so i could use throttle but not steer then no throttle then i could steer then nothing at all.....

ok, I took the clutchbell off and noticed that my clutch looked somewhat worn. the clutchbell has evidence of over heating too. I'll post pics tomorrow.
How many of you have upgraded clutches and what are you using?

Im using the dynamite maxlife shoes and they are sweet! Have a gallon on them and they are still looking good. Also running a ofna vented clutchbell

here are my clutch shoes pics... they look worn and burnt compare to all my other shoes. I have sanded them now and smoothed them out.

From front on they look ok but from side on they look f***ed. Definately wearing out too fast

Try something else probably. I like my st-1 but for racing there are more competitive trucks out there.
