Hold the center diff gear (spur) and try and roll it. Can you?

Has to be a drivetrain issue. Look veryyyyyyyyyyyyy closely at all the axles make sure they all have pins. If the set screw came loose and one of the pins fell out it will cause that problem and your 100% sure you tightened the two drivecup set screws. Another thing, the wheels, VERYY unlikely but you could have stripped a wheel hex.

Hey Madmaxx, have you checked the clutch? If it wont drive its possiblr something is wrong in there, maybe something stopping the shoes from opening????

no its def. not the clutch, ericem i just checked all the pins were there and i thightened everything down the set screws were, set i couldent tighten them anymore. if i roll it the CB and the spur movesbut i can hold the spur w/ my finger and roll the truck and only feel a tiny little bit of resistance..... this sucks... I dont know

Sounds like you need to pull the diffs. Your problem is either in the diffs or an clutch issue which sounds like it has been ruled out. Just pull each diff and check it out. You might want to do a re-build if the gears look worn to.

I might get one of these for racing this summer. I love the Price at under $300 but it's going to be my first Nitro. I know about most of the stuff that is needed for a Nitro and do you think that this would be a good beginner Nitro but not Driver. Also how reliable are they since my LHS doesn't carry parts and I'll have to get EVERYTHING on-line?
