There should be a sticky on how to break in motors, NO OFFENCE to anyone, just seems that we see this question a lot.

Going racing this weekend about an hour and a half from here. Went there last sunday, the track is awesome, it's huge and fast and has nice jumps, etc. It has a nice starter gate, and drivr's stand too, the town paid for most of it. Lucky b^%$^s!!!
I have some video, but I need to upload it somewhere else cause I only have dial-up .
Anyway, the guys up there all fell in love with my tigers, one guy was going to check out amain the same night. I told him about the deal there, said he might buy 2 or 3 of them for spares.
I had a really good race with a guy from there which I ended up winning due to reliabilty of our st-1's! we swapped the lead a few times till the clutch in his hellfre ss crapped out, he was ahead of me by about a second, but I was closing in fast!
We had a drag race also to see how my axial 28 rr stacked up to his picco 28, and I blew him away, started a little behind, and overtook him in a couple secs. and just left him there! This motor has about 3-4 gallons on it now.
I'll upload vids of all this as soon as I can!

anyone have problems with airleaks on the ST-1, because im prety shure i have one, i was tuning the car to get it running and saw the "evil" stream of airbubbles comming into the line, i poped off the fuel line to check and shure enough the bubbles were comming from the engine itself, now im not shure what is causing them, ill have to check later once it cools down but was wondering if anyone knows what is causing it??? ooh and i put the 7,000 wt oil in the front (when it was running) i did a turn, MAN i can take them MUCH Faster now (90 deg ones)

good point, if i get fuel in the pressure line its a pain, doesn't want to run right... so i think ill go out and tune it again (since its cooler) and maybe drive some

Hey guys im looking at getting a ST1 to race at our local track and i was wondering how good is it out of the box for racing? Are there any parts i need to upgrade right away? Right now most of the people are starting out and we have a couple of 8ight RTRs and i realize that the 8 is a better truck. But its more of driver skill at my track and i want to get into 1/8 scale.

** what type of receiver pack to i need? is it a 5cell flat?

Hey your local. Yes it takes 5 cell flat/stick pack. IMO fit the best.

Can't find a pic of mine with the stick pack.
