hey guys this may sound like a stupid question

BUT..

just brought an st1 from ebay that has hardley been used but the problem is that

I CANT GET THE STANDARD WHEELS ON!!!!!!!

its like the ttr 4 way wrench doen't fit deep enough into the rim to tighten the hex nut and is pi$$ing me off as i want to take this truck out any1 else have problems and HOW did you solve it..

Those are the offset wheels, not standard. If you have regular tools, find a socket that will fit and use it. If that does not work, place the nut on with your finger and turn it a little. After that, you can tighten with some needle nose pliers. I used the plier method until I bought a rc socket wrench. Here is a link to a deep socket wrench. They are rather pricey.

If those are the rims you are using, you do not need a deep wheel dish wrench. A regular 4 way wrench should work. It is the big wrench that also removes glow plugs.

Okay, I see now. Those are different than the stock TTR. Did you get my response about the battery pack and switch?

Offset has to do with the inside of the rim. It will extend out half a inch, so that it has a wider stance. The place where you attach rim to the axle. Zero offset is the standard. Check the inside of those rims.
