my esc and my motor get pretty hot when i run them even for a few minutes at 3/4 stick... i dont think there is binding or anything since the blades spin pretty freely when i spin them by hand (i have the tension in the belt set per the manual)... my esc is mounted on the right side of the frame with the cooling fin thingys( not sure what they're really called) pointed out. Im using an 11.1v 2100maH lipo and the stock 430l motor and 25G esc. Any ideas??

Did you cut out the holes in the canopy as instructed? Mine I cut the hole in the bottom, and the 2 small ones on the side to get plenty of airflow.

Strange you have the 25G and not the 35G for ESC. A 15C 2100Mah is capable of delivering more current than the 25Amp ESC can handle.

Would not worry too much unless they get really hot. Someone on another post stated the ESC is not efficient until about 80% or more of max power, don't know what % of power your 3/4 stick is providing. Also depends on the timing setting, low/mid/high, low will be most timid, high timing will run hotter.

Just changed my settings today, after running the motor was hot, ESC was fine I use the BL-35G, and the 430L motor:

1-2-2-1-2, which is no brake- mid timing - mid volt prot - normal no soft start - mid thro response

We should prob move this to another thread, since we hijacked endeavor's picture thread.
