I recntly contacted him for a question and it took about 5 days so I don't know that status. He also goes by Herby1
here on RCU but has not been active much after the negative comments aimed at him. (unfounded IMO)

This puppy is made from a chunk of 3/16" 6061 T-6, and would support the full scale plane. It ain't ever going to spread (not ever). But it's a beautiful piece of work, and I'll just bet that he had fun bending it (with or without a brake). It's a great job, and a beautiful piece of work, and should alleviate any tail heavy problems.

Gordon,

So much for the sucking-up getting me anywhere.... . I bit the bullet and bought a new G-26 for the WACO today. I guess I'll save the Juji-Imvac 32 for another project. It would have required cutting about 1.25" out of the lower half of the firewall and setting the firewall back, ruining the nose of the model. I guess I'll sent the 26 off to Ralph and get him to do the full ignition package.

Ya gotta be creative, Bill. The sucking up already bumped you up by 10, so ya gotta think of some NEW way to suck up.

==========

Ooooo...G-26 for the Waco. Can't go wrong with a Zenoah, my friend. All they do is start and run.

Speaking of which, this weekend the G-62 on the Bulldog REALLy started to come into her own, about a gallon or so in. Another couple gallons and she'll be an absolute horse I think.

This only goes to prove my original statement. The WACO Brotherhood is a better Brotherhood. We don't allow personal vendetta'a to influence the passing out of numbers. The next member gets the next available number, or whatever open number that he requests. So There!

Heh,

I doubt it. Comparing a WACO to a Pitts is somewhat akin to comparing Pavarotti, to Brittany Spears. they both sang, but one was all about Graceful performance, while the aother was all about flash. A smoking engine is usually indicitive of worn out rings, and the most efficient tool for cuttong a rbbon is a pair of scissors.
