Thanks for that! I felt quite at home with the plane almost straight away.

It was the second flight, and probably the third tank through the DA - there was a lot of flat spots in the throttling.

I hope to get some much better and lower vids at the UK freestyle championships on the first weekend of september. Should be to music too.

Luke

Bob,
Your Yak looks great! Looking forward to hear how the Vess performs. Did you maiden it that day?

Its my friend, Lyle, Yak and we maiden on Monday. I still flying my 30 and 33% TOC1 YAKS.

But I sure like this one..its it OUTSTANDINGLY light. Only thing I don't like is the foam used in the fuselage...just
a smiggin of gasoline drip...and it "POOFS" disappears, so much for structural support..hehe..

Good luck on the maiden Monday. You know, you might have to get one for yourself
I feel your pain though on the foam. On my maiden, while fueling I had a little gas drop on the wing. Didn't think anything about it until I pulled the wing off to pack up and found a few huge chunks melted away

Where are you putting your fuel dots? I put mine on the cowl and never had a problem with melting foam.

look last picture..it's on the side by ignition toggle switch. Of course, your right, in cowl, there is no foam..but
you would have a to pop off and on the hose when removing cowl. I remember as a kid, trying to move some gasoline from my dads car to the lawn mower..used a siphon hose and a foam cup..POOF! hehe
