Status: offline 		Has anyone assembled and flown the Great Planes .40 size P-51 ARF? Got any thoughts, hints/tips/tricks?

My wife surprised me with one for Christmas, and I'm just now getting started with the assembly. Though I haven't decided if I'll use retracts yet or not..Though I suppose I should real quick. :

I fly off of a grass field, and am wondering if that could cause problems with the retracts. I've never used them before on a plane.
