I have an RCV 120 SP installed in a Great Plans Stearman. The problem I have is the exhaust coming off the muffler is way too short. I have tried the hobbico exhaust extension and it simply melted.

I would like to use an OS Max 1.20 four stroke extension which fits perfectly, however there is no way to pressurize the fuel tank.

I'm open to any suggestions. I need about a 3 inch extension with a 60 degree bend at the end.

I can't wait for the 130 CD engine to come out.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

You do not have to pressurise the fuel tank.
I would recommend using using an OS Flexible exhaust pipe (possibly cut down to size), then put the RCV120SP muffler at the end.
That way you could use the nipple on the exhaust for fuel pressurisation if required.
