Status: offline 		I just bought a Tekin mini rage 8.0kv brushless with the mini rage ESC for my rc18b. I have a 7-cell integey 1200 mah and the Proline Dirt Hawg tires. The initial torque is zero. I put it on stiff carpet for extra traction and put full throttle on and it has absolutely no torque. What's wrong? Does the ESC need to be on a different mode or what? It also was maxing out to what looked to be only about 45-50 mph (two other people were watching and agreed), we're talking about a 8.0kv! Shouldn't it be going faster? The MAIN thing I'm concerned about though is it's absolute zero initial torque. Please help!

Status: online 		what gear ratio are you running? shouold run the smallest pinion you can find. I am not familiar with that system but I am sure you can play with the start up power.

Status: offline 		Gearing is part of it, plus, if your speed is 45 mph, thats good for a 7-cell pack.
