I've been doing a lot of fishing lately, after a 5 year hiatus. Can someone help me ID these fish I've been catching ? I always assumed the fish in the 1st picture was a small mouth bass, please correct me if I am incorrect, but never had any idea about the 2nd one.

Had a great day today...Flew in the morning and fished in the afternoon.

Thanks for any input !!

I am quite sure that the first pic is a small mouth, and the second is either a sheepshead or a white fish, if either, it is a small one, they can usually get around 2 feet long.

The first one is a largemouth bass. The hinge of the mouth extends back to and lines up with the eye. Most smallmouths have a brown or bronze color ( at least in Northern Indiana) and the hinge does not reach the eye. Not sure what the second one is.
