I believe that it is the S680. It uses the same one that the NT16 uses.
I have used one on my MT2 for some time and like.

It looks like the NT 16 and the 3.0 have the smae block, other than the stamp, and I am assuimng the have the same crank too, so It should take the s680.

I've got one on my FF too and it works well.

out of interest - whats the problem with pullstarts?

ive never had a major issue with them tbh, no extra batteries to run down and recharge, no extra gear to lug about, no snapped cranks/conrods thru over priming etc etc... if ur getting blisters then the tune is a mile out or the plugs dead, engines overheated etc etc.. at least thats the way i see it.

does that make me hardcore...? or am i missing something here?

The engine starts pretty easy now that i figuered it out. I just hate when it stalls (when i crash or flip) and i have to take the body off and on. Call me lazy

The only truck that I have used the Tiger Drive on was the MT2. The only reason is so I don't have to take the body off every time I want to start it not because I don't like the pull start.
All of my other trucks still have the pull start on and I have no desire to use the Tiger Drive on them. The only reason that I don't use the Tiger Drive on my MT2 is because I switched to the OS .18 and haven't purchasted one yet for the OS motor.

Yea the body can be a pain but I have my body lowered right down, a long glow starter that is a push and twist design and a hole in the roof. Also a cutout in the side window for the pullstart and dont have any problem...oh yea extending the pull start a little helps too, (either with a cable tie or extend the tubing under the handle)...and you can also bend the side of the body up a little get your hand under, grab the pullstart and push it out through the window and grab it with the other hand.
But man the OS 18 is so good it hardly ever stalls...just keeps on tickin over....

Yes it is but after a decent work out it is kind of hard putting the body clips back into the posts.

The Tiger Drive part is S681 for the OS motors.
