All the neat parts (quick, simple to move around, color contrast, etc.) have probably already been stated in a much more elaborate form, but I really like one feature :

When you want to 'jump' to another forum, you do not have to click on the 'Go' button - makes things go much faster (and I'm getting lazier!)...

Thanks for incorporating it in this great forum!

Jerry

I agree! The problem now is that I am visiting other RC sites much less frequently and therefore I forget I have to click on the 'go' button.

I sit there for a few seconds wondering why it hasn't taken me to the next forum and then I remember I am not on RC Universe!

Maybe the solution is to just stop visiting those other sites.

I'm going to spoil all you guys rotten here! Can't wait until the dual 1Ghz's are onboard...then I can really push the system a little harder!!!

Jerry - thanks and I'm glad you are enjoying the site along with the features...I love to build it, tinker and improve...keeps my mind sharp and it's great so many of you appreciate it and use it.

Regards,

Greg has a good point....because it is FASTER, I seem to read more threads - even those I'm not really interested in, but who knows what gem one might find!

Agreed!

This is a great forum, and the speed is a MAJOR factor. I now read all kinds of posts on different subjects, and am learning more as a result. This site is like flipping through a magazine, and that's the way it ought to be.

Lots of talented and sharing modelers here, too. I've already been in touch with many of you as a result of our being able to share information, links to our sites, and photos.

And THANK YOU for not allowing the "Shoot the Monkey" banners, and other annoying popups!

Cool!

I'm with ya'll. I can get so much more info here, just the fact it's faster, more ways to navigate, and even navigates itself.
I'm so absolutely spoiled here, I really don't want to look at other sites. The PM feature, search ..etc....it's all here.
I also forget to hit the "go" button at other sites. It's so nice I can pop in here for 5 minutes and hit all the new stuff and my regular stuff, and know where I've been.
I was thinking about this exact thing not 2 minutes before I ran upon this thread.
I'll say it again......Marc....you 'da man!!!! Thanks.

Also everyone here is great about responding. I think we have all the old players from the other boards but maybe we are just excited to have a chat board that works the way it should!

YES - this RCU site is the best on the web. Here, I have found people really interested in R/C aircraft, and none of that trash can stuff like on RCW. I located this site by accident, and because of the pleasant attitude of both the moderators, and of the posters, I don't feel that I am wasting my time contributing to the forum threads where I can.

To Jim Lynch: Great picture above. Didn't realize that you were so good looking!

Let's keep this site CLEAN!
