This Bee-jet is very nice looking to me. Did they ever make kits of it?

Is it from Fivejet?

Joe

I have tried contacting the designer through the web site fivemodels.com. I got no response. I have also talked to Gaspar in Spain and several other people but no one knows if its was sold. The guys name was Jose Pina that designed it.

I was hoping someone could obtain the molds and maybe produce it.

Hal

See the JetMach fly here

http://media.putfile.com/Sunday-73006-Jet-Flying

If it serves any purpose, I had the chance of flying the JetMach a couple of weeks ago. I've only flown turbine models 4~5 times and with this airplane I felt confident enough of making a full approach (with flaps up) about 45 seconds into my 1st flight.

Just so that you get an idea how good that design really is. It does not handle like a Trainer .60, more like a Senior Telemater on a hurry. I could teach a 6 year old how to fly on one of those.

I've been working on this design for an all balsa/ply Sport F-14. One piece wing, with lots of area. As of now scale is 75" fuse and wing. Single turbine.

Is the turbine going to be fully exposed on the bottom of the fuse? It's a cool design but I would at least partially enclose the turbine to reduce FOD. Are you going to sell any kits or plans?

Check out the RCM EAGLE V, you can now get a kit of it from Precision Cut Kits.. gee my gallery for some pics ( geh3)

this is a really good plane, quite fast and with a lot of aerobatic capabilities, perfect for a 14 lb turbine

That looks great. The external turbine should help keep weight down and the semi scale F-14 outline is very attractive. If done right, the light weight, generous wing area, and with the proper airfoil could make for a great easy to fly sport plane.

Very interesting! Please keep us posted as it progresses.

Thanks,

I've almost got all the bugs worked out of the design and the construction methods solved. Here's a few more pics. Wing area comes out to about 1600 sq's.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I know that this plane is at the very early stages of development but I really love the concept. There are probably a lot of people out there like me that like the scale outline, without the extra weight and complexity of a scale jet with the stainless steel pipe and all. I am also not a fan of the twin boom and delta type planes that are so popular.

This looks like it could bridge the gap between sport jets and scale jets. I almost bought the Grumania SU 27, which follows a similar concept, but it is a lot smaller than what I am looking for.

Keep up the good work.

I really like the addition of the engine cover on the bottom. Is the inlet at the front of the cover? Hard to tell in the pics.

When can we start placing orders?

Yes, there is an opening (inlet) with screen here to direct air into and around the turbine and over the heat shield section at the rear.

Here's a slightly better pic of that area.

Alan Cardash had an all composite baby boomerang at the Jetpower show in Germany. It looked really nice. I think it is coming out next year.

I am looking for a new sport jet in the 7-14lb. range that can be flown off a small field. Most of the new planes out are scale or larger jets. I know the Reaction 54, Boomerang Intro, AV8R are good planes but I am not really interested in them. I have heard that Composite-ARF is coming out with something similar to the Lightning and Flash this year in a 7lb. class. Does anyone know if Alan is going to re-do the Intro with glass fuselage and booms?

What about any other new jets that someone may have seen?

Hal

That is the Skygate Collection "Skywalker" from germany.

Company does not exist any more
I think they sold some molds of their other airframes to Composite ARF

If you want a different plane, how about a turbine Long EZ 46.
Put a Jet Joe on it and and you will have less than $1,500 in
the finished product. It is a bullet and will fly off of grass.

Will my RAM 500 TURBINE fit in this plane.

I like the concept.
Stand way off scale is my highest interest in scale.
What weight and thrust are you shooting for?
Will it have landing gear? Retracts?

If you want a drill bit, a 10lb turbine in an electra goes nicely, as does a 14lb.. find a used one and convert it..? or find one already done.. there are a couple out there.
