this plane is heavy, so learn as you go, I did have this plane, and I have one new in box, the plane is heavy, and need a heavy engine to balance, you can see video in rc universe of this plane flying that I did and on engines the video of the spe40 I install, even with a spe40 the plane was tail heavy and in top of that I did a pull pull system. With a 40 was a border line to plunch from hover and with a 26CC LOL will be a brick with wings. Maybe the 150 saito does better who knows?

I just put mine together over the weekend. I am using an OS160, pull-pull battery all the way up front and still had to add a 1-1/2 of lead to the nose. I had to reinforce the entire engine box, fiberglass, screws, triangle stock. For the money (got cheap on E-bay) good plane, lousy hardware - never use it, instructions only good for lighting fireplace. Hope to get it in the air tonight.

remember this is a Chinese made arf and the CG in the instructions is off a tad bit... it may not be as bad as it seems, If you plan on doing some 3D with this Yak an aft CG might not be a bad Idea for you... Get you one of those 45 or 52cc engines from Hobby city they cost less than most Glow 2 strokes out there and they should be more than enough to yank this plane around... and at 175 to 209.95 you could get 2 of these and have another on the side.

It's called "right thrust" built into the firewall and the pieces of wood are for the canopy.

I changed the whole thing. Flutter on maiden flight, destroyed whole plane. Replaced it with Aeroworks Yak 54, much better quality and lighter.

The plane is ok, they should redesign the plane to get the CG a little better, this plane should not have to have a 45cc engine on it to fly right... it should be more at about 8 or 9 lbs, but there comming out at 11 or 12, some even 13... just because of the CG issue.
Mine had a twisted fuse, it wasn't to bad but I couldn't take it back because I noticed it after I put some stuff togther. I learned now to check over everything before i purchase anything now.
