Well I tried my new meter and I have a question I hope someone can answer. I just purchased a new MKII field charger and I also have a hobbico mkII voltmeter. My question is when I plug in the volt meter to the meter jacks the output is like 5.35v but when I unplug the meter and the battery I am charging and test the battery with the meter I get the correct voltage like 11.37 for a TX. It is like when it is plugged into the charger it doesn't show the correct voltage. I checked it with a digital meter that I have and it registered the same readings. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this the way it is supposed to work? Thanks for input in advance.

Not sure what the problem is. But the MKII voltmeter you are using has a load in it. So probably not a good idea to have it connected to the meter jacks on the charger. Better to use the digital meter you have for monitoring the charger, assuming it has no load in it. [/QUOTE]

you are right about the load test on this meter although I have the meter in the neutral position which has no load its just a meter I think. I tried it with a regular digital meter and got the same readings. If anyone else has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
