Yes that is where i got the clutches from, but, remember that you will need a sleeved bell to run this clutch as the shoes will not engage far enough without one

they actually have to make a sleeve out of steel (i think) and press it into the bell. The sleeve itself is pretty thin, doesnt take much. I think pretty much any machine shop can do it

Well Mike, after posting all that stuff on the other thread about Drakes no pressure line i've done a backflip and bought a Nosram RS.28 V3 which is the same engine as the LRP spec three and i've just finished getting it in last night so now i cant wait to run it in "now i'm officially one of the big boys" out with old (Mach) and in with the new.

mike,i bought it from my Lhs (very small shop) but below is the link to the web site for the engine, it came as a pull start but the losi (mach) spin start went on with just the elongation of the holes. Apparently the LRP, Nosram and one other (read it in a thread)are all made by golden lion in taiwan. i'm thinking its only equivalent to the spec 2 as it is 6+1 port although the thead i read said it was the same as the spec 3 anyway i ran my first tank through it and holy cow even running as rich as it is it brought a big smile to my face. its sounds wild (probably the RD-Logics twin stinger i'm running with it). i can tell this things gonna haul a$$ when its got a tune trown at it.

http://www.nosram.com/products.asp?id=41

Also mike it cost $289 oz which is $218 usd (ouch, Nasty little hobby shop) still everything gets expensive by the time it gets to us out in the burbs of oz.

Try the Werks pipe for the LST on the spec 3. works great, or the Ofna 086 isn't to bad either...

Hey fellas
just wondering what temps your Lrp engines seem happiest at once run in?
i'm running mine in at 195-200 at about half throttle, does this seem about right?
it holds temp so well that i can move the temp 2 or 3 degrees up or down quite accurately. Bl@@dy good engine!

Thanks mate,
Temps here in brisbane (Oz) are about 75 in your scale (quite nice)
The Mach used to make good power at about 245 or so.

i am running one shim in my LRP's and i am using sidewinder 30%. It runs great, so i dont really see a need, but you may want to keep an extra couple head shims around to compensate for different fuel, or if yours isnt running as well. Its always an option and you could always expierement and see what works best for you.
