Has anyone had to replace the wing tubes . If so where did you find them and what are the exact dimensions. I'm needing to replace mine with either aluminum or cf tubes. Most places I've looked dont have a long enough tube since the OD is only from my rough measurements one-half inch. thanks for any help jlmrph

Same thing just hapened to me. I have an Aerworks Ultimate and ordered new wing tubes from AB Models. The are about .020 of an inch too big in diameter.
My top one is wearing where it goes through the center cabane strut so I want to replace it. If I can't find new ones I guess I'll have to cut the bad section out of the old tube and machine a new piece to join the two halves, probably from solid aluminum about 6 inchees long. Then secure it in the halves probably epoxy or a small roll pin. Anyone tried this repair method? Or found an source for new wings tubes that fit? I wouldn't use CF since it will wear rather quickly on that center cabane.

If you're patient with AB models they can get you the wing tubes (14mm), mine just should up and fit perfectly
