Looks like I missed recording that part. Too much epoxy on my hands to use the camera. Yes, light cloth - about .7 ounce and West System epoxy. Heavier cloth was used on the bottom. I think it was 5 or 6 ounce on the front and 2 ounce behind the first step. An extra narrow strip was added along the front keel. The inside of the spray rails have carbon fiber on them. II found that the paint was chipping along the sharp edge edges of the rails so I put a coat of Goop on them in the manner of stone guard they used on cars. Toal weight of finish including glass, resin, primer and paint is about 1.5 kg.

The last three planes I made were painted. I am covering a new one now with film and it seems strange getting back to it. I'll post a picture.
