I Love the Monster Beetle. Second car I owned - but I always wanted a Frog so I converted it to a Frog but left the big tires. They have yet to re-re the Monster Beetle, but I bet is just a matter of time before the do.

They still make the chassis and the body - and the tires. To me it is a no brainer.

Wish I could figure out exactly how those oil shocks are mounted. It looks like an E-ring holds the top end in place? I wonder what was done to the shock caps to allow that to work?

I remember seeing a pic once of a Tamiya buggy that had both a swing arm AND independent suspension in the rear. Anyone remember its name?
