Has anyone had any experience with the following upgrades. Do they worth the cost.

1. CN0502 - Torque Drive - 54.95$
2. CN2239C - Servo Mount - 19.95$

Thanks,
Shanti

I agree with Cougar. The Hawk SE in its stock form is already very upgraded. So it flies ver well, with great precision and lasts a long time. So until you get into a lot of hard backwards 3D you will find the two upgrades you mention of lesser use....so why risk them in a hard boom strike or crash.

As the SE is a heli that is very hard to wear out because of all its bearings, metal swashplate etc. it will last long enough to take you well into the harder 3D arena. Then do the tail upgrades mentioned, as you will find no tail drive in hard backwards 3D works as well as a torque tube drive. If you had a belt drive heli and went to convert to a torque tube drive system would be very expensive, but as you can see, with the Hawk it is relatively inexpensive.
