I suspect that this was the reason the kits we're recalled. Now i'm glad I waited for the revised version! Nice find there blax, thanks for that! I'll be sure to double check and make sure i've got the new grips in my kit tommorow. EDIT: Just looked closer, this PDF is dated yesterday, so this is a new problem that's been found. Upon closer reading it seems that they're implying this safety issue only appears when using something more powerful than the stock setup. Also states they believe the cause of the problem to be over-tightening of the blade bolts. Not entirely comforting news, i'll have to keep an eye on my grips and headspeed and make sure both stay in check untill I can get some of the newer grips (or) some nice shiney metal ones .
