Status: offline 		Ive built many electric boats using wood glue but my last boat I have gotten a few cracks in some areas from the glue breaking. The wood I use is the midwest ply wood, so I am going to build a new boat and want to know what everyone uses to glue ther boat together.

Also I wanted to get a brushless system for my boat that I will build soon and was thinking about the Novak 4.5 system, would be good for a 21 inch cat boat. My last boat was a 2 stepped cat hull/flat bottom, (there was 1/4 inch of sponson below the bottom of the boat) I used a green machine motor rooster esc with the traxxas nitro vee prop and it went about 17-19 mph on rippled water.

Status: offline 		I know someone will recomend West Systems Epoxy. I checked into this as I'm building a Vee right now. It's kind of expensive, but really only because you have to buy so much of it.

I went to the LHS and picked up some Z-Poxy (2 part epoxy). So far so good...it's sets up nicely.

...but, it's best to use a slow set epoxy so that it can penetrate the wood before setting up to give a really strong bond. But even with the 30 Min. Z-poxy I'm using, it holds so strong that I think the wood would break before the joint. Haven't tested
