ok bought a CC BEC but did not hook it up yet, i tried a 3s lipo in the truck, no steering issues at all, then tried a single NiMH 6 cell again no steering issues. Hooked the twin 6 cell's back up in series and again i get the steering issue. One servo won't steer, or while driving the wheels will stay in the turn position after a turn for a couple of secs.

any idea?

Yellow looks good too!

Yes it does. Myself, I'm piecing together a f350 high lift body to mount on my TXT. The juggernaut may have had rolling problems(really bad for hard body),but the txt-1 doesn't(at least mine hasn't ). Then again, the way I drive, I probably couldn't roll a lifted jugg.

The only thing I can think of is that the MM's built in BEC is not designed to handle 14.4V...

Replaced the broken dogbone yesterday (tnx for the help Longhair). Mr. TXT is up and running again

Here is a picture of the damage with the dogbone out. This must be a weak point on the TXT since I did not crash or anything for this to happen. There are some CVDs coming into this truck in the near future!

ok using the 3s lipo and changed out the tires to an older set of tires i had laying around that are glued up, as the ones that came with my model i have not glued yet, holy freak n cow this thing is un real, it pulls the front wheels at the drop of a hat. I will say those dual silver cans are getting hot with the old 3s lipo and MM. Stearing looks to be resolved with a lipo and adjustment of cutoof.

I have the CC BEC but have not installed it yet, I may return it.

Quick question...i am running 12g deans wire & deans plugs everywhere ......from the battery to the esc, from esc to bullet connector for the motors, but from the other side of the bullet connector to the motors i left the org crap like 20 gauge. Do you think that is causing any issues with motor or ESC or battery heat up?

It will have tiny bit more resistence, but nothing that would heat up your battery / ESC more than just running the motors themselves... the motors = still majority of the load..

Run some heatsinks on the motors if you think they are getting hot!! I run 2 of them Tamiya heatsink on my motors!!

Just curious... how many of you actually run your TXT (or RCs) like this?!

I guess it is not like I am afraid to it couldn't handle it, or the water will damage the TXT, but more that I'd hate to clean that up.. what do you think?!
