For real?! TNX has 6" tires?! Didn't know that!!

I am sure TNX will be a lot faster.. but it is still cool to do it old school solid axle style..

Ya the tnx really cooks even if a txt was running like hvmaxx I wouldn't doubt the tnx. Ya the tires are alot bigger than mashers and figuring mashers are about 5" I'm guessig they're pretty close to 6-6.5". It's mostly wheel though lol. The clods/txt's are mostly tire not rim.

Yeah, but there's something about solid axle, driveshaft, and cantilever suspension that's cool to me.. (maybe just to me!) So it is still something that I'd like to get.. I guess I am just not as into going fast as others..

Although if I'd to get a nitro, you know it will be Tamiya TNX 5.2!! Ha ha ha ha!!

Ya I like the solid axles to but I doubt my tlt will ever be anything special handling wise. The axles are just designed for a smaller vehicle and even with offset wheels it's too skinny to go fast.

LOL, I doubt my TXT will be going too fast..

If it does, it probably doesn't handle too well at speed.. LOL!!

Yea, I wouldnt want the truck to go very fast. I just want it to go through the terrain I make it run through(dirt pits, sand/dirt mounds, jumps, rocks, boulders, curbs, grass, woods, my mom's flower beds, etc)... LOL!

My DI will satisfy my need for speed for offroad. And a road car will satisfy my crazy driving on road... But a truck is tons of fun on the drive way too...

I wonder if I can gear it down.. as I will be running dual S-600s at 14.4V.. might be too fast?!?

Yeah, I am not a speed freak myself.. (ah, hmm.. TC4 FT w/ Mamba Max 7700kv..) I know the stock motor mount is not adjustable, right?! (but I guess you can widen the holes to move the motors around..)

I guess we will find out soon enough!!

I did get some tire foam for the TXT.. (argh.. had to place another order last night.. ended up getting some more junks to make the $125 limit.. )

No more RCs, I tell ya....

Great to see you've finally ordered it! It'll be cool to see it built from scratch, as I bought mine mostly pre-assembled.

TXT-1 is definitely a vehicle to drive slower. The HV-Maxx is overkill in this thing! (I've since moved it to the emaxx)

Anyway, very cool. Bah, RC is as bad as any other addiction. Keep buying, even when you say it's your "last" order.

Good to have you stop by, Hunter!

Yeah, will look forward to the build for sure!!

I hope it is not gonna be too fast w/ dual S-600s at 14.4V.. if the spec is to be trusted (LOL!), that would equate to about 700-watts output?! Hmm... not sure if that's such a hot idea... LOL! Maybe I need to extend the rear a little bit..

Will find out soon!! Hopefully get the kit sometimes this week...

Better get your SuperDuty XR!!

But then, you might want to get a BL system for it.. hee hee..

My thinking is.. when I do finally get a BL system (say, Mamba Monster Maxx), I can always move the SuperDuty XR to a Clod... hee hee..

The Mamba Monster is going to be complete insanity. I've heard rumors that castle said they were taking the Max and doubling everything in it. So from that you would have 200 contionus amps. 6s written lipo cell limit which really means 10s supported. I can just say it will be insane. Also very much cheap compared to others out there.

Probably not suitable for the TXT then.. ha ha ha!! I don't want the TXT to go 50mph...

It would be great for a 1/8th scale conversion, though!!

PA is a UPS hub, for some reason they don't ever show the travel from Champaign.

It's wierd because my tracking numbers show that "info has been received" status for a few days and then on the last day it shows that same info you posted and out for delivery. No travel info is ever given like other packages.
