That sucks, I guess when you have to get surgery fireworks arent worth it anymore. All the times Ive hurt/burnt myself with them it was worth it though, except that one time at fall retreat when my friend threw firecrackers at me while I was in the shower. Lol, after that some old guy came cause he heard noise, said it smelled bad and sewage might be backed up so he closed everything down and we were locked out of our cabin for the day while he checked it.

Haha, sorry man.
I bet you were really close for it to hit you like that. When ever I do it no glass gets near me. What did you use? Water dynamite, M-80? M-1?

well at least you didnt try molotovs... How big was what you used? I've never blown up a bottle that bad before except for when we dropped fuel in it with a fuse.

100% agree...... I also needed eye surgery after a BIG firework threw a piece of a rock(actually coal) about 50ft right into my eye. That sucked bigtime so I know how you feel, I had to have 4 stitches put in my cornea. My eye turned blood red and looked like it was dying, that was 4 or 5 years ago. The best part is there were 3 of us, the firework was fairly close, so I guess I was concerned I got up and walked away from it and walked around to the side of the house just when I turned to look it exploded and instantly dropped me. My friends who were much closer didn't get anything. Bad luck I guess.......

Hope you feel better soon...... you know when you are putting in alot of eyedrops, when you can start to taste them..... I think I put in 3 different drops like 4 times a day it was horrible.

Guys, you're supposed to duck behind something when you set off explosives in a glass.... kids these days.

Glad to hear it wasn't too bad though.

Heh speeking of freak accidents I Might as well tell my RC one that happened early summer...
I was at the track and i had to go marshal my car (Touring cars... electric) and this modified (lightened... they decided to cut some of the chassis out under the shaft) TC4 comes around the corner and his outdrive breaks... well anyone who's seen the mythbusters episode with the polevaulting car... this car is much lighter so it was a fairly high (2 feet) polevault... into my FACE... knocked 3 teeth right out... shaft cars are now banned unless the track owner himself looks at the car... The guy driving the car scremed like a girl when there was blood on his nice white body shell =p

ouch, get well soon , i'll share my friends (painfull misfortune), we were combat sloping (yes, thats where you fly with no engine) and some guy was flying a sas wildthing, as you can see from the link it has a nice pointy nose , i tapped this guys wing with my plane and he got dissorientated and flew his wildthing into my friend, the nice pointy end hit his groin and the wingtip got me. my friend kept a brave face and quickly landed and walked off to curl up in a ball . He didnt have a good day, i did because i won the event (and recieved a free plane!)

btw, nice dog!
