There is no Veilside Z, and there's an old Veilside RX-7 made by Yokomo. It's not the Fortune RX-7, which I'm assuming you're talking about.

Why would anyone recreate the commercial? The movie wasn't that good...

i really dont like the idea of buying pre-painted bodies. I'm gonna be getting help with mine from a friend, as i'm not exactly confident with it, but i wanna have my own design! i dont see the point in running someone else's design that thousands of people have.

Painting Your own shells is half the Fun.. I mean even if it is a Complete mess , it still states your individuality..

Pre-painted is a Bad reason for wanting many shells.. Pre-painted would be the way to go if you only wanted a Bash shell .

I have 12 Shells and Rising..
I have only ever gotten Two Pre-painted, One came with my TT-01 and the Other was a Certified Shell from an actual Car company and they only released them in Factory colors so there was no clear option.

I don't have a pic of my body right now.......... but it's a slightly used Lotus Elise painted black with dual yellow stripes down the center and a very thin silver pinstripe running along the sides and around the back. I found it while looking through the bodies I had cut for my nitro cars, and I just cut a new set of holes in it and smoothed out the window cutting I did a while ago. I fitted it with a Yokomo exhaust set and a huge wing I took from a 1/8 scale McLaren F1. I'll take some pics soon.
Also, Em, those are some awesome shells! Keep up the nice stuff man!

And you'll only learn if you do it yourself! When I got my first Blitz ER34 (the Speed Way Pal version), it looked like total butt. And it's sad cuz I've been painting RC bodies for quite a while. But at the same time, I've been experimenting with paint. From there, I learned about custom blending, and started using different paints. Here are some examples!

Speed Way Pal ER34 Skyline. Pactra White Pearl, Candy Blue, Silver

Speed Way Pal AE86 Trueno. Spaz Stix Blue-Purple-Red

Yokomo HKS S15 Silvia

HPI Impreza WRX STi (My crappiest job to date)

HPI FD3S RX-7 (My best accidental paint mixture. I call it Candy Grapefruit)

Yokomo Blitz ER34 Skyline

Yokomo AE86 Trueno

Tamiya HKS Altezza

Hot Works Nismo Z33 Fairlady Z S-Tune

The S-Tune is my one and only pre-painted body. everything else was pretty much trial and error with the paint mixtures. I've used Pactra, FasKolor, Tamiya, Spaz Stix, AlcladII, and House Of Kolor paints...

Hope you all enjoy!
