Status: offline 		Hi guys, I'm just getting ready to put a .61 into my LT-40 so that I can hopefully get this thing airborne. I was just wondering, with the .61 do you think I should upgrade to a larger fuel tank? I was thinking a 12 oz.

Status: offline 		I tend to get LONG flight times Flying seaplanes,because I'm just cruising around the pattern doing Touch and Goes. Don't spend much time at all at full throttle.

Then again, a dead stick in a floatplane frequently involves a boat-ride.

SUggestion: Time your flying time 'til you're outa gas and get a cheapie timer to clip onto your radio.
Or, fly for 10 minutes and measure how much fuel you have left. Do the math and see how long you can fly. Then decide whether you need a bigger tank,which may not fit in a LT40 anyway.
