Methanol is the cheapest alcohol. Go to Yahoo yellow pages and type in VP racing fuel, or just racing fuel for the nearest distributer and give them a call. I think they sell in Canada.

Hexane is banned in the UK. Dangerous stuff. We used it for explosive atmosphere testing in altitude chambers. A simple spark sets that stuff off with a bang. I would not recommend you use it.

Cheers,

isopropyl isint necessarly 30% water, if you go and buy 90% isopropyl its only 10% water, or if you go to an Electronic store or a hardcore hardware store. they will have like 99.574% Isopropyl alcohol which means less water, i have used isopropyl in my fuels and i do noticve a difference, sometimes the water doesnt hurt a bit in your engines peroformance.

Pure isopropyl has very little water in it however it makes a lousy fuel. Same for ethanol. They work but have nowhere near the power of methanol.

Well yeah, but you still notice a difference when you add it. atleast 2-3% but you have to use a lot of it.
