In the 73" manual the CG measurements are at the tips. I use a Great Planes CG machine which is designed to work at the root of the wing. Do you know what the CG measurements are at the root? Distance from the leading edge would be good.

I don't know the CG from the root but the CG in the manual is from the trailing edge to the wingtip not from the wingtip! I don't have that plane to find the CG from root. Mark the CG like manual recommends and then find it on the root by a long straight edge. Sorry I couldn't help but make sure you measure the CG from trailing edge to the wingtip.

Status: offline 		I think it would be easiest to tape a string to the CG point on one wing tip, stretch it over the fuselage and tape it to the other wing tip at the same cg point. From there you could determine the CG at the wing root and mark it.

That's what I was going to do but though someone may have already done it on here. When I work out the measurements I'll post them on here.
