Hi Bob,
These kits are made in Germany not in china or Tailand.
The cost to produce are high. I am not sure how many kits have been sold through the years and may never know. Since there are other composite companies making the same kit, I personally would not waste the time. Since I do not own Airworld and Germans are fighters...lol, who knows!
With my advice there are some considerations with some other models. I hope they pick up my ideas.. In time neat new Warbirds will be on the way! You can count on ROUND engines kits for sure!

Hey Wojtek

I didn't read the other post, but to answer your first post, i have not flown the plane but i did 65% to 75% of the work on the 190 that Deno flew in top gun. There were no plans but it was still a straight forward and easy build. The engine bolted up nice and easy to the firewall. We elected to add reinforcement to the firewall, used sierra retracks, which by the way looked very sweet, I had to add about 2 to 3" of hard wood to the mounting rails in the wing which i inserted an extra rib to hold the beam that supported the gear, sliding canopy on an air cylinder with about a 4" stroke worked real nice. The hinging in the wing was all robart, Radio access through the scale hatch worked out real nice. On a 1 to 10 the scale detail was a 7. Lets face it, most kit this size are wood build ups, if you're lucky you can get a fiber glass foam kit. All of which are very cool. Depending on how much detailing you add this could be a 3 to 4 week build full composit airplane with a five cylinder radio engine that sounds like a small car, at that price i would say that is pretty damn dope.

Hope this helps, i would love to answer questions but i have limited time to spend on the computer, too many planes to build.

peace
