This is another measurement favor, figured I'd get that out first.

I know there are like 3-4 different engines used in these cars, but I am looking for a general size of the engines. More or less, if you were to put it in a box, how big would it have to be?

Looking for height, width and length, generally, of your engines........JUST THE ENGINES, not the pipe.

Well, assuming the ingines can be mounted at an angle, like this one......

http://www.thorbob.com/baja_project_intro.htm

in a 16 inch space across the frame of my truck, then I will use that same general layout, with a shaft running to my transmission, and then a chain to the rear diff. It's all a matter of space as far as thats concerned. I have roughly a space that is 16"x18" to fit the engine/engines, tranny, and gas tank. However, I may be putting the tank over the tranny to conserve space, and allow for a larger capacity if I use two engines. We'll see.

Yes, I know, whats the problem? I can use the same layout and scale it up to fit a zenoah.

Man that truck LOOKS incredible! Excellent craftsmanship.

I couldn't imagine what would be involved to scale that up for a couple of Zenoah G260 engines. Considering the driveline layout of the engines they would probably have to be 'sideways' compared FG or HPI gassers, right? The weight is going to be a challenge. If the same basic construction techniques are used and two engines mounted I bet the gasser version would weigh 40 pounds+.

Definitely keep us posted Soloratov if you develop some ideas. Even basic drawings would be interesting to see.

Good Luck!

Ok, hows this.........

So far, the stats are as follows:

Length: 49" or 1244.6mm
Width: 29" or 736.6mm
Height: TBD depends on suspension setting, and engine height.
Goal weight: 65lbs

The plan for the engines is fairly esay, if they fit. I'll make a larger size pair of angles similar to the other guys project, and mount that right behind the steering arms.
