So is the date wrong on your camera or have you had it this long? Date shows 2003. When I was flying around the world in 747 freighters, I used to stay in Penang. Stayed at the Equatorial Hotel. Played many a round of golf at the Bukit Jambul Country Club. Just had to remember not to chase balls into the woods as Cobra snakes may be present. OUCH! How far are you from Penang? Wish I was still coming there, beautiful country and wonderful people. Retired from airline flying 2 years ago. Send us some of those quality lipo batteries they make there. Is your Yak electric or gas/glow?

Here's a few more pics... nice lasercutting, great fit, well glued and assembled.

Bevels on the surfaces are sharp and lots of throw... of course.

Hingepoint hinges pre-drilled, nice CF tailwheel, phenolic horns, balllinks... all good stuff.

Another well done EF plane...

I'll bet others are looking at theirs right now too... or will be in the next day or so...

O.S. 1.60 with Bisson Pitts for mine.

I do see a few areas on mine I'll add a little mod or two... the canopy base is balsa and I'll create some gussets to reinforce the joints.

The hatch latch was loose (looked like it ws CA'd) and I'll reinforce and epoxy it in better.

Other than that... she's a beut... the scheme is even better in person...

I'm gonna bling mine up even more...

Nitro wing,

Don't wait on me... I'm not going to be able to get started right out of the gate... I just wanted to share the weights dimensions and initial thoughts.

Geraldo,

No wing bags...

I live in Parrish FL and my wife drove all the way to Cumming to pick mine up last Friday. Over a 900 miles round trip. What a great wife I have. OH, I forgot my daughter, son in law and new grandbaby live in Alpharetta but I know it was the Yak that inspired her.

Opened it up last night and boy what a beauty. Great hardware package and just love the tail wheel. Sullivan type with NO springs. Thick carbon beauty. Can't find a complaint yet. Also very few wrinkes. I did have a missing manual but Chris mailed me one today. Thats what I get for picking it up last Friday. A little ahead of the power curve. (whatever that is)

On another note. I grew listening to Jerry Lee Lewis, ( old man here) Did you see him on Imus this AM? The old boy still has it but does not play with his feet anymore. Quote of the day from Jerry Lee " When dancing, if you've got it, just stand in one spot and move it. If you aint got it, you might as well go home, cause you aint gonna get any." GREAT BALLS OF FIRE
