I am used to flying with lots of pitch authority and would fly it a at 6.5
I dont recommend it though, just get that battery further up for initial flights. The Yak rotates agressively already,no sense crapping your pants on maiden.
If you have 40 degress elevator throw,be sure to get at least 50-60% expo,or it will be an animal.I think I have 80% on full throw.

40 degree thats weak Nitro But I did tone mine down to 45 and not the suggested bevel to bevel wich I measured at 60 degree's !

Flew it like that for a while and was like an airbrake, will mess with you and slow you down too much if your not used to it. Which Im still not.

I probably have 50 degrees or so in mine,I asumed that Cameron had about 40 max to start with, maybe less, just wanted to point out that if he has big throws to make sure he has expo to match

yes i believe about 40 right now hoping to maiden soon maybe this coming week our field is flooded right now from all the rain from the last week,we got pounded, looks like i might have to add just a little up front, still leaning more towrtads the rear at wing tube or 6.45 so a touch more then a full tank should be good thanks for all the help ,i double checked my expos on low and high and have them set at 60 low 70 high

I probably have some weight in the nose over you, with the APC, the pump and I used an OS aluminum mount made for the 1.60
Good luck on maiden and dont forget to loctite.
