Has anyone rigged a charger cord to their tailgate or under it? I was trying to figure a way to have a permanent cord running from the truck battery to the tailgate with some kind of adapter..This way I dont have to keep opening and closing the hood..My truck already has a plug for a trailer but Im not sure how it should be wired..or if it could be done at all

A trailer cord may only have a hot wire when lights are on. You'd have to run a wire from batt or another power source that's hot all the time, but it should work just fine.

Yea I was thinking that too..I was hoping I could use the pre-wired jack..would be simple if there was a leg that was hot all the time..
