Status: offline 		Well sort of, I have the demo of the sim running on my Dell Inspiron 7000, 400mhz, 256 mb sys memory, 8 mb Ati Rage Mobility agp video, with Windows 2000 with Direct X 8.1, I have ran the demo with out crashing the computer, I don't know how to control the airplane with the keyboard. I can get the power to work by pressing the "P" key, take off, then I can cut the power by hitting the "E" key to shut down the motor. If I use the mouse pad I turn into a bank and crash. The crash does look real and I know you guys will not believe me when I'm flying I do smell nitro. I just ordered the ful package from Tower Hobbies with the interface cable for $101.00 shipped to my door. Lee

Status: offline 		The sim demo works, but I don't have a game port on my laptop. I know that there is a USB converter for joy sticks but I don't know if it will work with this sim. Lee

Status: offline 		I have the Ripmax simm working extremely well on my laptop.I used a USB to analog converter from Radio shack to get the simm up and running with a joystick. I am very pleased with this simm and I think it may be the best simm to use with most laptops unless you have one of the new smokin units, then you could probley use Real Flight. Check out my other post if you need a radio to computer cable. One outher thing the Ripmax simm cable software does not work with Win 2000 but the cable on my other post will.Lee
