Status: offline 		Just for fun I got a 644 carb to try on one of my G26's. What do I do with the primer bulb and gas hook up? Cap it off? Change it over to the metal stock type plate? Thanks. Brian

Status: offline 		The bulb is there to pump fuel into the carb before starting, the excess comes out of the tube when the carb is full..Won't hurt anything, you can put a hose on it to keep fuel from the inside of the cowl...Nothing will come out when the engine is running..
You can't just replace it with a cover, there's a small hole leading from the edge of the chamber to the tube...You can plug the hole with a 4-40 screw if you change covers..If you don't plug the hole, fuel will leak out....
The 644 is exactly the same carb internally as the others without the bulb...

Status: offline 		Thanks as usual Ralph. The G26 you converted for me is a "REAL" screamer. Starts, runs, and idles wonderful. It is by far my favorite G26. Brian Smith
