Just for fun I got a 644 carb to try on one of my G26's. What do I do with the primer bulb and gas hook up? Cap it off? Change it over to the metal stock type plate? Thanks. Brian

The bulb is there to pump fuel into the carb before starting, the excess comes out of the tube when the carb is full..Won't hurt anything, you can put a hose on it to keep fuel from the inside of the cowl...Nothing will come out when the engine is running..
You can't just replace it with a cover, there's a small hole leading from the edge of the chamber to the tube...You can plug the hole with a 4-40 screw if you change covers..If you don't plug the hole, fuel will leak out....
The 644 is exactly the same carb internally as the others without the bulb...

Thanks as usual Ralph. The G26 you converted for me is a "REAL" screamer. Starts, runs, and idles wonderful. It is by far my favorite G26. Brian Smith
