90 mph.

I don't have any actual experiance with anything but the XTM .247 Pro, but I have run an SH .28 P3 which is the same as the XTM .28 and it rips...so i'm gonna vote for it, LOL

I have the XTM .28 installed in my Mammoth ST, currently, and since I haven't gotten the engine fully broken in, I don't have any feedback on it. However, when I do break it in, I'll definately post the performance of the engine in this thread. From what it sounds like, since it's the same as the SH .28, my ST is gonna rip.

i bet it will the 457 is faster and the savage x weighs about the same as a mammoth so a 457 will friekin fly in a savage x.

If you really believe it'll go 60 or 70 mph then I've got some oceanfront property here in Arizona to sell you.

with the stock gearing you'll hit 30 and that's about it.

The 457 has more power than the stock savage x engine so why would it go slower.

30 mph isn't really slower than the stock F4.1

the .457 more than likely won't turn any higher rpm's than the stock motor. in an RC car, RPM's is where you get your top speed in most cases, it's not drag-limited like it is with a real car.

Dude he said more than likely. The general rule of thumb is bigger engine= more torque and less or the same RPM, smaller engine = less torque more rpm and if you look at it closely, the 427 is a great engine but it is an RTR engine, how many RTR engines have enough power to flip your truck over and make it go a bazzilion miles an hour? It is a torque monster and also if you look at the engines specs you may realise how you look like an idiot right now.
